I created a booteable pen drive using the instructions here:
http://www.puppylinux.com/flash-puppy.htm
and Here:
(link to be filled in) (damn! I can't find it!). Not everything worked as described. The -ma option gave me an access error.
When I finally got the pen drive to boot linux, I had trouble configuring the video. The resolution Windows XP is using is 1024 x 600. 1024 x 768 is also available, but doesn't look good.
My HP is a 2133.
Now I'll try to boot puppy again (none of the few times I run it so far have I been able to save the settings. I didn't check if Puppy is seeing the HD yet).
